Newton, MA RSAG (Retail Systems Alert Group), organizers of ERI eXchange, The Conference & Expo for the Extended Retail Industry, announced today that Bill McCorey, SVP and CIO, Circuit City will present a special keynote session on Wednesday morning, June 6, at the upcoming event.

The keynote session will be entitled, Leveraging Outsourcing Relationships for Innovation and Change. The presentation will examine how outsourcing can serve an enormously critical role in delivering retail innovation, strategy, and success. This special keynote session is being sponsored by IBM.

Bill will discuss the process, synergies and benefits derived from multiple sourcing strategies. Attendees will hear how Circuit Citys outsourcing decision was the result of collaboration between line of business and IT. Bills perspective will focus in particular on the value of infrastructure outsourcing and its impact on the retailer's business strategy.

The event will be held June 4-7, 2007 at the new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) in Boston, Massachusetts.

Bill McCorey worked at the Circuit City in a variety of information technology leadership roles from 1991 to 2005. He served as vice president, computer services from 2000 to 2003 and as vice president, business applications from 2003 to 2005. He served as the chief information officer at 2nd Swing, Inc., a retailer of golf clubs and related accessories, during 2005. Bill rejoined the company in April 2005 as vice president, business applications. He was promoted to senior vice president, chief information officer in October 2006.
