LEWISTON, MAINE, April 2010 — System Logistics Corporation, a material handling systems design and integration company, announces a new addition to the recently established Supply Chain Solutions Group. Mr. Thomas Berger joins the group as Vice President, Supply Chain Sales. In this role, Mr. Berger will direct the Supply Chain Sales Department as part of a strategy to create two separate areas of focus within the Supply Chain Solutions Group. The two departments — Supply Chain Sales and Supply Chain Development — will work together under the same banner to deliver expert solutions for complex supply chain challenges.

Mr. Berger brings over 15 years of invaluable knowledge of core System Logistics technologies, such as case and pallet automated storage and retrieval systems as well as broad material handling experience assisting clients reach their supply chain goals. Mr. Berger is also on the faculty of the World Food Logistics Institute as a senior instructor on automated technologies. He joins System Logistics Corp. after serving as senior staff with both WEi and Daifuku.

The Supply Chain Solutions Group has been developed for the specific benefit of organizations requiring improvement of their distribution, assembly or manufacturing facility in addition to multifaceted supply chain design and implementation projects.
