DHL Express, the world’s leading express delivery and logistics company, today announced it is recruiting several hundred workers at its principal hub and gateway at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport.

Starting June 8, applicants are invited to DHL’s hub to apply for available “International Service Agent” positions in package sort, ground and ramp operations. DHL Express expects to hire 200 workers this month at its hub, continuing recruitment efforts in July to hire an additional 100.

“Significant positive trends in package volumes coupled with a need to keep our hub operation adequately staffed for peak shipping periods has opened up hundreds of opportunities for local workers,” said Michael Munn, Vice President of Human Resources for DHL Express. “Most of the available positions are part-time and represent opportunities for future advancement within DHL Express.”

All part time DHL Express employees at CVG are eligible for company benefits including a recently enhanced tuition assistance program.

In 2009, DHL Express U.S. reconfigured its entire network to reflect its international focus – including an enhanced, fully-automated international hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) featuring a Quality Control Center to monitor world events and spot situations that might delay shipments. The DHL Express hub at CVG serves as DHL’s central hub for the Americas region, employing approximately 550 full-time and 990 part-time employees.

Applicants are invited to the DHL Express Recruiting Center 785 Lindbergh Court, Hebron, Ky. on June 8 – 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and June 15 – 17 from 9 a.m. to 7:00 pm. Applicants should be prepared to present work history, College or High School diplomas, school transcripts and any other documentation that would be helpful for employment consideration. DHL Express Recruiters and Hiring Managers will be on site to interview, screen applications and answer any questions.
