Air Cargo World-Kerry Logistics announced that it has begun construction of an 85,300-square-foot facility in Wuxi, China, an economic hotspot in the Jiangsu province. With a capacity of 10,000 tonnes, the Wuxi Logistics Centre is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.

The Wuxi Logistics Centre will be the first logistics facility in its area to cater to the electronics and high-tech, retail, healthcare, auto spare parts and pharmaceutical sectors, Kerry Logistics said.

It will also be in a prime location. Close to both the Wuxi Sunan International Airport and the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, the Wuxi Logistics Centre will be able to benefit from the increased trade in these areas. Read more!
