International Freighting Weekly--DHL claims it did see a traditional surge in demand for air express and freight services in the run-up to Chinese New Year, bucking the trend reported by most other carriers and integrators.

Wu Dongming, MD of DHL-Sinotrans, even claimed to be expecting air express shipments from China to the US and Europe to “increase by 8-10% during the Chinese New Year period”, which starts February 3 and traditionally forces most labour-intensive export businesses to close for the holiday. Read more!
