LIMA, Pa.-November 2, 2007-Pilot Freight Services, a worldwide provider of transportation and logistics services, today announced it has opened a new station in Laredo, Texas. This will be Pilot Freight Services' fourth station in Texas, and its 66th station in North America. The Laredo station will be a major hub for shipments to and from Mexico, due to its proximity to the border.

The new site, which opened its doors in October, is located at 1303 Calle DelNorte, with approximately 26,000 square feet of office and dock space. The Laredo station is owned by Scott Lychwick, who also owns Pilot's El Paso station. He has been with Pilot since 1997, and has over 25 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. The station will be managed by Margarita Frescas, who brings over 10 years of industry experience to the station.

"Pilot's expansion into Laredo speaks volumes for the company's tremendous success, as well as for the growth of area business," says Richard Phillips, Jr., CEO of Pilot Freight Services. "We look forward to serving southern Texas with our unparalleled service and dedication, as Pilot facilitates the growing economic needs of the area." Pilot Freight Services also operates stations in Dallas, El Paso, and Houston, Texas.
