RALEIGH, NC - October 24, 2007- Purolator USA, the U.S. subsidiary of Canada's largest small package and freight services company, has selected the Raleigh-Durham area for its southeast U.S. regional headquarters.
The new Raleigh-Durham hub will support Purolator USA (www.purolatorusa.com) customers from North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Purolator USA offers a full range of services from overnight small packages to LTL (less than truckload) freight forwarding. In addition, Purolator USA now offers US domestic small package delivery, making it easier for customers to complete shipping by consolidating with a single freight forwarder.
Nationwide, Purolator USA has been growing rapidly and has doubled the size of its branch network during the past 12 months. The Raleigh-Durham/Southeast location was selected because the Companys existing customer base in the area, and because research indicates that the region accounts for a very significant amount of US-Canada trade.
In late 2007, the Raleigh Durham operation will move to a permanent location near the RDU airport that will house both administrative offices and a package consolidation area. Southeast customers are currently being served from temporary facilities.
Before joining Purolator in 2006, Fairbanks had seven years of experience at UPS and four years with Fed Ex. "I was attracted to Purolator because of its focus on meeting customer needs and its priority of providing customized solutions to our clients, Fairbanks stated. Although the Southeast branch is headquartered in Raleigh-Durham, we have staff throughout the entire region. And, we will announce several major customers in the near future.
