Several shipping companies were named as winners at The 4th Annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service on Monday, February 22 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. This year’s shipping industry winners are:

UPS, Atlanta, GA - Sales Department of the Year - Distribution & Transportation
FedEx, Memphis, TN – People’s Choice -- Favorite Customer Service Airlines, Distribution & Transportation
U.S. Postal Service, Washington, DC – People’s Choice -- Favorite Customer Service Public Services & Education
Organizations that focus on their customers can survive and thrive in tough economic time, which was a theme represented at this year’s awards. The 2010 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service honor and generate public recognition of the accomplishments of sales, customer service, and call/contact center professionals, departments and organizations worldwide. The awards feature categories including Customer Service Team of the Year, Global Sales Leader of the Year and Customer Service Leader of the Year.
