Global supply chain management company, OHL, recently made a $10,000 donation to the Nashville Red Cross to help with ongoing relief efforts resulting from unprecedented flooding throughout Nashville and other parts of Middle Tennessee.
“We applaud all the companies who have already made generous donations for relief efforts,” said Scott McWilliams, OHL’s CEO. “We want to encourage all companies and individuals in middle Tennessee as well as companies and individuals in the logistics industry to help those impacted by the recent flooding by making a donation to the Red Cross or other relief efforts. Families and businesses throughout the area desperately need our assistance. The Red Cross is, as always, doing a phenomenal job in assembling and equipping volunteers to provide needed services.”
OHL has also established an online fund for its employees to direct gifts to co-workers who sustained damage as a result of the flooding. “We are fortunate that not many of our employees were impacted and want to help those who were,” stated McWilliams. “I am very proud of our employees who continue to make donations, organize relief efforts internally and volunteer their time.”
Donations can be made to the Nashville Red Cross online at www.nashvilleredcross.org.
