Logistics Manager--Deutsche Post DHL has renewed its partnership with The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs for a further three teams. The partnership began in 2005, and sees Deutsche Post DHL assist the authorities of affected countries and the humanitarian relief community in the handling and storing of relief cargo at airports in disaster regions. Deutsche Post DHL’s three “Disaster Response Teams” are assigned to a specific geographic regions covering Asia Pacific, Latin America/the Caribbean and the Middle East/Africa. Each team consists of a pool of about 80 specially trained DHL employees, who have volunteered to take part in the pro-bono humanitarian efforts. Read more!
