PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – April 24, 2012 – The Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA), the only organization that focuses on the unique needs of marketing, sales and communications professionals within the transportation and logistics industries, invites marketing, sales and communications professionals to explore growth strategies at its 2012 Annual Conference and EXPO. The conference will host two keynote speakers, nearly 20 educational seminars and three networking socials. The conference will be held June 3-5, 2012 at The Westin Diplomat, located in Hollywood, Florida.
This year’s theme is “Ready, Set, Grow! Moving Transportation Forward.” The overall agenda will focus on real solutions transportation professionals can utilize to make immediate profit enhancing changes to their businesses. Conference sessions will provide cutting-edge insight and ideas to help move transportation forward and boost industry growth. Specialty breakout tracks specifically geared toward sales and marketing and communications will also be featured.
TMSA will recognize the best in sales, marketing and communications within the transportation and logistics industries at the 60th Annual Compass Awards Gala. The Compass Awards are industry recognized awards that honor individuals and companies in the transportation industry who set the standard for sales, marketing and communications practices within their business class.

He will shed some light on ways to better manage marketing content in his speech, “Marketing Content that Attracts Customers to Your Brand.” Pulizzi is a world leading content marketing blog writer, author, speaker and informant within the many facets of strategic communications.
In response to the success of last year’s session, TMSA will also present “A Talk With The Editors.” Major industry trade publication editors Jim Blaeser, American Shipper; Mike Levans, Logistics Management and Martha Walz, WT100, will discuss best practices on how to improve one’s working relationship with industry publications.
