READING, Pa., Feb. 4, 2013 – Penske Logistics announced the appointment of two senior vice presidents.
Joe Carlier has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Sales from his previous role as Vice President of Sales in the company’s Central region. Carlier has 25 years of sales and operations experience in transportation and logistics.
During his 17 years with Penske Logistics, Carlier held several sales and operations leadership roles including Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Operations, Director of Sales and General Manager of Operations. He is a three-time winner of Penske’s highest sales achievement award and a two-time recipient of the company’s field operational excellence award. Carlier holds a B.S. in Business Management from Wayne State University. He will be based at the headquarters of Penske Logistics in Reading, Pa.
New to Penske Logistics is Jeffery A. Bullard. He now serves as Senior Vice President of Operations in the company’s Central region. Prior to joining Penske Logistics, Bullard was with the private equity firm, Transportation Resource Partners (TRP). While with TRP he served as CEO of Versant Supply Chain.
Bullard has more than 25 years of transportation and logistics industry experience, having held positions with IBM, Booz Allen & Hamilton, Deloitte Consulting and Alaris Consulting. He also served as Director of North American logistics for General Motors. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. Bullard is based out of the Penske Logistics office in Warren, Michigan.
