Cleveland, OHIO, March 20, 2014 – Soles4Souls, Inc., an international not-for-profit organization that collects and delivers about 2 million pairs of shoes annually to the underserved has chosen PartnerShip LLC of Cleveland, Ohio, as its official shipping provider to manage its small package and freight distribution.
PartnerShip will coordinate shipping from Soles4Souls donor drives to the nearest warehouse location through a dedicated website and support team. PartnerShip also will help Soles4Souls manage its own transportation between warehouse facilities and shipments to shoe distribution locations.
Soles4Souls, based in Nashville, Tenn., gathers shoes and clothing through 5,000 to 7,000 collection drives in any given year, says David Graben, the organization’s chief operating officer. Donors that sponsor the drives are then responsible for shipping the collections to their nearest warehouses throughout the country. Once the shoes reach one of the warehouse locations, the collections are graded, inventoried and eventually shipped to their final destinations.
“We’re excited to be working with PartnerShip and offering their solutions to our important donors as it will save them a lot of time and money on shipping,” said Graben. “Given their significant experience working with both nonprofit organizations and with shoe retailers, PartnerShip was a natural fit for us.”
“PartnerShip is celebrating 25 years of experience working with and for small businesses and not-for-profit organizations, including a long-standing relationship with the National Shoe Retailers Association,” said Brian Ferancy, vice president of sales and business development for PartnerShip. “We’re proud to be the official shipping provider of Soles4Souls and its donors and helping them both save time and money on shipping in their mission to address poverty around the world.”
