COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado and MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – July 7, 2014 – Accellos and HighJump Software, each leading global providers of supply chain management software and trading partner network technology, today announced that they have agreed to merge, creating a market leader with 11,000 customers in 23 countries with operations in North America, Asia and Europe. The combination of the two companies creates a product portfolio that is uniquely positioned to meet the advancing needs of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and logistics service providers to manage complex order fulfillment cycles and collaborate with supply chain partners.
The combination of Accellos and HighJump brings together a unique set of technologies, including networked trading partner connectivity, warehouse management, transportation management, and route delivery. This creates the opportunity for customers to work with a single technology provider with an adaptable technology backbone for omni-channel supply chain operations and organizations of all sizes.
The merged company will operate under the name HighJump and continue to use the Accellos brand for midmarket supply chain execution technology. Accellos founder and CEO Michael Cornell has been appointed CEO.
“Discussions with our customers have made it clear that omni-channel is a catalyst for rethinking their supply chain and its underlying technology,” said Michael Cornell, CEO of Accellos. “This combination brings extremely complementary technology to both Accellos and HighJump customers. Our collective supply chain execution product portfolio is one of the broadest and most adaptable in the industry, and covers the unique needs of large enterprises, 3PLs, and SMBs.
HighJump’s trading partner network is a model for the power of a next generation ‘connect-once, access-all’ network that can provide significant value to Accellos customers. Additionally, HighJump and Accellos share a common culture rooted in a relentless focus on developing innovative products and strong customer support. This focus allowed us to add over 1,100 new customers in 2013 alone. We think this combination will further allow us to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers and partners in the future.”
The combined company is strongly committed to all the Accellos and HighJump product lines going forward, and current customers’ investments in existing solutions will continue to be protected. The combined company expects that the convergence of the solution set over time will create significant benefits for customers through innovative software and services that help existing and new customers optimize their supply chains.
