MINNEAPOLIS (June 22, 2015) -- HighJump, a global provider of supply chain management software, announced today that Comercializadora Mayorista de Abarrotes SA de CV (COMA) of Mexico has selected the HighJump Warehouse Advantage warehouse management system (WMS) for all eight of its warehouses. COMA is dedicated to the distribution and sale of grocery and popular consumer products to the Mexican market with more than 30,000 square meters (over 320,000 square feet) of distribution centers.
COMA chose the HighJump WMS to increase operational efficiencies in its distribution facilities, adapt more quickly and easily to market changes, and lower overall operational costs. The HighJump WMS will provide a foundation of best practices, collected from over thirty years of experience in the industry, to positively impact both the inbound and outbound processes, as well as overall productivity of the employees at the distribution centers.
“We did a thorough search and analysis of several potential providers,” said Alejandro Flores, subdirector, COMA. “We confidently chose HighJump through their trusted partner, Scanet Solutions. The operational results that their customers have achieved demonstrated to us the exceptional professionalism and performance of HighJump.”
“HighJump is pleased and excited to be working with one of our most trusted partners, Scanet Solutions, on this project for COMA,” said David Houser, senior vice president of international sales at HighJump. “The adaptable architecture of our WMS solution will ensure that COMA can be nimble in response to market changes and help processes evolve to keep up with customer demands.”
