The improvements are a part of the LSO expansion plan throughout its network, devised to support significant customer growth in both business and e-commerce shipments.

LSO partnered with Designed Conveyor Systems LLC to install material handling equipment that enables direct trailer unload, less package handling, and improved data integrity, resulting in a shorter sort-span. The installment also improves productivity and increases total volume capacity. LSO has recently undertaken similar infrastructure improvements at its other Texas facilities in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Waco, and Tyler, as well as its Tulsa, Oklahoma facility.
