Transport Topics has reported that, "UPS Inc. said Tuesdsay it has added 200 hybrid electric delivery trucks to its fleet in eight U.S. cities. UPS expects the vehicles to reduce fuel consumption by 176,000 gallons per year compared with conventional diesel trucks, and will reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released by 1,768 metric tons per year.
