New Hyde Park, NY (April 2011) – Associated Global Systems (AGS) is pleased to announce that Jay Gerard has joined the company as Manager of Customs Brokerage.
Gerard will be based in New York and will have full responsibility for their nationwide Customs Brokerage clearance services.
His most recent experience was with Sony Pictures as Supply Chain Manager where he was responsible for the transportation budget, both import and export. He created, in this position, an Import Export Compliance Manual which included customs regulation implementation. In a prior position as Import Manager at Aries Global Logistics, he was responsible for import requirements for thousands of shipments yearly, including FDA compliance procedures.
Gerard is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics.
