Journal of Commerce--The U.S. trade deficit narrowed 2.6 percent in February, the first decline in four months, but both imports and exports fell from the month before, the Commerce Department reported Thursday.

Exports fell back 0.3 percent, or 0.3 percent, in the month from January and imports declined 0.2 percent, or $2.3 billion. A strong $2.3 billion in imported consumer goods was offset by declining imports of automobiles and parts and capital goods. Read more!
