Journal of Commerce--US-Canada improvements include a new, advanced sensor system that will track and report traffic delays and allow drivers to plan better routes and save time and money. The Journal of Commerce reports that the new system "is expected to reduce border wait times for the travelling public and commercial carriers by up to one million hours per year." These improvements were part of the Beyond the Border Action Plan signed by Prime Minister Harper and President Obama in 2011. Read more!
