Talarico, the current President of WERC’s Philadelphia, Delaware Valley Chapter said, “This event presents an important opportunity for logistics professionals to attend sessions and learn and share with their peers at a conference that emphasizes education and research in all aspects of the supply chain industry. I look forward to facilitating a meaningful conversation about transportation strategy among the attendees and providing the group with ideas and tools to use when facing their own transportation challenges.” The WERC Annual Meeting hosts over 1,000 attendees from across North America and features keynote speakers and peer-to-peer educational sessions. This year’s topics focus on cost-cutting, customer service, disaster response, the environment, equipment, human resources, legal, metrics, safety, security, and technology in the logistics industry.
