FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE--3PLAudit.AI Automates Warehouse Auditing and Connects Logistics Costs per SKU
Ecommerce shippers can verify fulfillment charges and coordinate warehouse, parcel and freight payments through connected treasury management.
WESTON, Fla., September 14, 2026. FreightOptics (formerly Zero Down Supply Chain Solutions) today unveiled 3PLAudit.AI, a platform that automates the auditing of warehouse and fulfillment invoices and manages billing exceptions for ecommerce shippers using third-party logistics providers.
The focus is on what happens inside the warehouse, distinct from auditing a carrier’s freight invoice. Storage, pick-and-pack, shipping supplies, parcel rebills, case-pick fees, inbound minimums, and overpack charges can span multiple locations and billing periods. Checking those charges consistently requires matching invoice details to the rates and terms in each agreement.
A survey of 500 qualified U.S. respondents whose organizations sell physical products online and use an outsourced 3PL for at least part of fulfillment or transportation found that 86.4% review every invoice or conduct regular spot-checks. In a separate question, 56.4% said they encounter billing errors occasionally or frequently.
Automated Auditing and Exception Management
3PLAudit.AI uses AI to extract invoice details from PDF and CSV files and check billed charges against the applicable rate card and agreement. It identifies mismatched rates, duplicate charges, miscalculated minimums, incorrect carton sizes used for overpack shipments, and billing codes outside the rate card.
The platform manages the exception process, identifying anomalies that need correction rather than leaving customers to work through a queue of flagged charges. Dashboards show recurring issues across warehouses and billing periods. Previously paid invoices can also be reviewed to identify historical discrepancies.
Total Cost per SKU, from First Mile to Final Delivery
As part of FreightOptics, the technology connects warehouse and fulfillment charges with transportation costs to show the total logistics cost per SKU. That view includes first-mile transportation from the manufacturing origin, pick, pack, fulfillment and storage within the 3PL’s four walls, and final-mile delivery to the customer.
Automated warehouse payments connect with FreightOptics treasury management for parcel and freight, bringing payment management and logistics cost visibility together across the supply chain.
“Ecommerce shippers should be able to see what it costs to get a product to their customer and trust the charges behind that number,” said Brad McBride, CEO of FreightOptics. “Too much of that work has depended on someone piecing together invoices and chasing discrepancies. We’re taking that burden off the customer so they can make decisions about where to store inventory and how to fulfill orders with a clearer understanding of the costs involved.”
See 3PLAudit.AI at PARCEL Forum 2026
