FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE--Zero Down Evolves into FreightOptics to Put Shippers in Command of Transportation Spend
At PARCEL Forum 2026, the company debuts a new platform experience connecting AI detection, notification and resolution across all modes of transportation.
WESTON, Fla., September 14, 2026. Zero Down Supply Chain Solutions announces its evolution into FreightOptics, bringing 23 years of transportation expertise into a logistics data and intelligence platform built to give shippers command of their transportation spend. The company is marking the evolution at PARCEL Forum 2026 with an entirely new user interface and updated capabilities that help businesses identify what is driving costs and take action across parcel, LTL, truckload, rail, ocean and air.
Over its operating history, the company has seen how billing errors, contract terms and shipping decisions affect customers’ margins. The platform puts that experience to work through technology that connects transportation data with cost investigation, exception management and execution.
“We designed the new interface around the questions customers need to answer about their transportation costs,” said Brad McBride, CEO of FreightOptics. “With IRIS, they can use AI to investigate a cost increase and trace it to the shipments and invoices behind it, across the modes they use. The platform also manages billing exceptions through resolution. That’s the evolution we’re delivering with FreightOptics: connecting the ability to understand a cost with the ability to do something about it.”
A New Experience Across All Modes of Transportation
The new interface gives finance, operations and procurement teams a shared environment for investigating transportation spend. Shipment activity, invoices, carrier rates and contract terms come together so users can examine what they were charged, understand why costs changed and determine what needs attention.
Shippers can examine parcel, truckload, ocean and air costs together, giving finance and operations a shared view of transportation spend and carrier performance.
AI Detection, Notification, Resolution
A cost discrepancy should lead to action. FreightOptics uses AI to surface anomalies and explain cost drivers, with the platform managing exceptions and identifying the charges that need correction. The platform files eligible refund claims, disputes charges with carriers and tracks credits through verification.
IRIS, the AI agent within the platform, helps users investigate the questions behind the numbers. When transportation spend rises, users can ask what changed in plain language and explore connected shipment, invoice, rate and carrier data. IRIS identifies anomalies and locates the invoices behind the increase, helping users understand which charges need attention.
Shippers can also strengthen carrier agreements through Carrier Contract Optimization, check warehouse and fulfillment charges with 3PLAudit.AI, and connect transportation costs to accounting through cost allocation, accruals and reconciliation. Managed services remain available for customers who need additional operational support.
Experience FreightOptics at PARCEL Forum
Attendees can see the new interface and explore the platform at booth 205 during PARCEL Forum, September 14 to 16. Demonstrations will show how FreightOptics helps shippers investigate transportation costs and manage the actions that follow across all modes.
