On July 1, 2007 ECOLOG Logistiksysteme GmbH, a leading system supplier of automated intralogistics solutions based in Wels, Austria, joined the TGW Logistics Group. With the acquisition of ECOLOG the TGW Logistics Group adds additional expertise for systems integration. The management of both companies are determined to grow in the logistics market. Georg Kirchmayr, TGWs President explains: "TGW Logistics Group will reposition ourselves as a systems supplier for integrated logistics solutions. By integrating ECOLOG, the group of companies now has a highly experienced controls and software division with material handling competencies, which we need for our future growth and success.


Successful systems supplier for 9 years

ECOLOG Logistiksysteme GmbH has been successful as a systems supplier in the field of automated logistics solutions for more than nine years, delivering turnkey solutions to the customer. Manfred Lindner, ECOLOGs CEO: We are very good at finding the solution that best fits the individual customers requirements that strength stands behind our success. That is why we were able to expand rapidly and raise our revenuesto approximately 40 million Euros during the past years.


2010: revenues of 350 million Euros

This deal will be a Turbo-Boost for us, says Georg Kirchmayr. The Group now has over 1000 employees and Georg Kirchmayr is convinced that: By 2010 the TGW Logistics Group will generate revenues of 350 million Euros per year.


New corporate structure TGW Logistics Group

To be able to manage its future growth, the TGW Group takes advantage of the new integration and will restructure itself. In the future all the operational companies will cooperate under the common roof of the newly founded holding company TGW Logistics Group. Georg Kirchmayr will be President of this new holding company and is withdrawing from his operational functions. Manfred Lindner will continue to be CEO of ECOLOG Logistiksysteme GmbH and, together with Rudolf Hansl, will be responsible for sales within the TGW Logistics Group. Georg Kirchmayr has a clear vision for the TGW Logistics Groups future: Within a few years we will have successfully developed our two main strengths: first we will be THE supplier of innovative, flexible, high performance materials handling and storage equipment, and second we will be known as an excellent partner for integrated, high quality solutions for logistics systems in many different industries.
