BRENTWOOD, Tennessee--Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OH Logistics) recently hired John J. Hafferty, Jr. as CFO of its International Services group. In this newly-created role, Hafferty will oversee the financial strategy of the supply chain management company's international services division.
Prior to joining OH Logistics, Hafferty was senior vice president of corporate strategy and development for Schenker Americas. He was instrumental in Schenker's successful acquisition and integration of BAX Global Services. Hafferty also served in various senior-level positions at UPS, where he worked for 12 years.

Hafferty has a B.S. in business administration from Kansas State University and is a CPA. He has had several articles published in various supply chain publications, enjoys coaching youth sports and works on community projects for various non-profit agencies.
OH Logistics also hired several additional people in the corporate finance department, including Lynette Miller in a new position of assistant treasurer. Miller was previously Treasurer of Altec Capital Services and also has experience with O'Neal Steel, Birmingham Steel and Price Waterhouse Coopers. Miller is a CPA. Lynora McPeters joined OH Logistics as corporate controller. McPeters has experience at Jacuzzi Brands, Logan's Roadhouse, Office Depot and Ernst & Young. McPeters is a CPA. Jennifer Batey was promoted from division controller - transportation to a new position of billing director. She has been with the company for 8 years. Greg Lemon joined the company as division controller - transportation. Lemon was previously employed by Pulte Homes as a division controller, has experience with Ernst & Young and is a CPA.
